CASA to hold safety management system workshops

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has proposed restrictions on those operating aircraft fitted with Jabiru engines. (CASA)The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is hosing a number of workshops in April and May, following the release of the second edition of its safety management system (SMS) resource kit.

The one-day workshops will be held in every state and territory capital except Hobart.

During the session, CASA will go through the revised resource kit, explain how to get a safety management system started and set out CASA’s requirements and expectations.
