The Australian division of the Royal Aeronautical Society (Raes) has appointed Doug Nancarrow to the newly created position of general manager.
RAeS Australian division president Noel Schmidt said the general manager position, which will be part-time, was created to help the society take a more productive and effective leadership role in the local aviation and aerospace community.

Nancarrow is executive chairman of Safeskies Australia as well as editor of the Australian Business magazine. He is also a lecturer at the University of NSW.
