The Victorian state government has announced it will invest $180,000 in an upgrade of Kyneton airfield between Ballarat and Bendigo.
The Minister responsible for the Aviation Industry Gordon Rich-Phillips announced on February 7 that funding will come from Victorian government’s $20 million Regional Aviation Fund (RAF), and that the upgrade will include a 24-hour self-service aviation fuel facility and a CASA approved pilot activated lighting system.
