The carrier has not released details of the updated lounge design, due to open in Sydney in mid-2013, but said it would offer an “inviting and exclusive contemporary space” based on input from frequent flyers. The airline’s Melbourne Airport lounge will also receive a more modest update including increased seating capacity and a new dining area. That work is scheduled for completion by the end of November.
