“The demand for a bi-weekly service is a good indication of Australia’s growing importance as a trade partner to major international markets,” said Greg Johnson, Emirates’ cargo manager for Australia. “Emirates SkyCargo is committed to providing Australian businesses access to trade opportunities in the 70-plus countries we operate to via our state-of-the-art Cargo Mega Terminal in Dubai.”
The airline’s 777 freighters can carry up to 103 tonnes of cargo.
