The A320neo is scheduled to begin delivery in 2015. Airbus claims the revamped engines and drag-reducing design of the A320neo will result in 15 per cent fuel savings over the current A320, already the world’s best selling single aisle passenger jet.
ALAFCO has taken delivery of 25 A320s, with one more still on order. Airbus says 8100 A320 family aircraft have been ordered by 340 customers worldwide, with more than 4800 delivered.
