Qantas has appointed former Galaxy Fund CEO Corinne Namblard to the company’s board as a non-executive director, bringing 30 years of finance, infrastructure and related industry experience to the airline.
“My fellow directors and I are pleased that Ms Namblard is joining the Qantas board and I believe her appointment will further strengthen the board’s diversity of experience and corporate skill,” Qantas chairman Leigh Clifford said in a statement.

Before her tenure as CEO of Luxembourg based Galaxy Fund, Namblard spent 19 years at Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) where she held numerous roles in foreign exchange, debt and equity capital markets, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
