Global aircraft training firm CAE has announced a joint-venture teaming with Japanese company Mitsui & Co for the establishment of two new Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) training centres in Japan and the United States by 2013.
The partnership follows on from CAE’s 2010 agreement with Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation for a 10-year Exclusive Training Provider program, as well as rights to develop and deliver a training solution for the MRJ. Under that agreement, CAE is currently developing two CAE 7000 Series MRJ Level D full-flight simulators (FFS), and CAE Simfinity integrated procedures trainers. CAE will also conduct training for pilots, maintenance technicians, cabin crew, dispatchers and ground support personnel.
