The Airbus Miltary A400M airlifter has made its long awaited airshow debut at the Farnborough Airshow, opening the flying display on the first day of the show on July 19.
In a media briefing Airbus Military CEO Domingo Ureno said the now three aircraft strong A400M flight test program was “slightly” ahead of its schedule to date, with more than 100 flights and 420 flight test hours now accumulated.

Before the airshow, the A400M made a brief visit to the Royal Air Force’s main transport base of Brize Norton, where it was pictured with a RAF C-130J and C-17.
