Qantas recorded the highest rate of on time departures among the four major domestic carriers during February, according to the latest domestic airline on time performance report from BITRE.
During the month, Qantas recorded an 87.4 per cent on time departure rate, followed by Virgin Blue (85.8 per cent), Jetstar (83.6 per cent) and Tiger Airways (78.2 per cent). Of the regional airlines, Skywest recorded the highest rate of on time departures at 88.5 per cent, followed by Regional Express (79.3 per cent) and QantasLink (79.2 per cent).

Across the domestic network there was a cancellation rate of 0.9 per cent, with Jetstar recording the highest rate of cancelled services at 1.6 per cent. Regional Express only cancelled six services during the month, leaving it with the lowest cancellation rate at 0.1 per cent.
