Singapore Airlines has launched what it calls ‘future-proofing’ of some of its European fares, where it will offer cash back to passengers if fares fall below those they have already booked on before they travel.
Customers booking travel through Singapore Airlines’s early bird Europe program from October 26 to January 5 will see their fares are guaranteed against any future reduction in prices in 2010. During 2010 if the airline introduces fares lower than those offered through the Early Bird program for the same travel period, customers will be refunded the difference in the fares, within certain conditions.

Webjet.com.au and some other travel booking agents also offer similar products, but most require passengers to pay a premium for it.
